I Didn’t Set Out to Write a Book…
Honestly, I didn’t.
I never had “write a book” on my vision board. I didn’t block off time to outline chapters or dream about seeing my name on a cover.
But what I did have were conversations.
Over and over again, I kept hearing the same things from the brilliant, passionate, values-driven founders I worked with:
↳“I love what I do, but I hate selling.”
↳“Sales calls feel awkward and unnatural.”
↳“I freeze when it’s time to ‘pitch’ myself—even though I know I can help.”
↳“I just wish sales felt easier… more me.”
And every time I heard those words, they stuck with me.
Because these weren’t people who lacked skill or drive.
These weren’t businesses that didn’t have something truly valuable to offer. These were thoughtful, service-based business owners with a real desire to help—and yet, sales was the sticking point.
Not because they weren’t capable. But because of what they’d been told sales had to look like.

And I realised—this isn’t just about technique or strategy.

So no, I didn’t set out to write a book. But I couldn’t not write this one.
